Brooklyn-based company, BAGGU, was founded in 2007 by mother and daughter, Joan Sugihara and Emily Sugihara, with a simple premise: to eliminate single-use plastic bags. Concerned with the harmful impact of plastic shopping bags, we set out to find an alternative that was not only functional but also stylish. When we couldn’t find one, we decided to make our own — with the idea that the best way to inspire positive change is through creative expression. The result was the Standard Baggu: a reusable bag made to eliminate waste by inspiring delight.

The brand offer a full line of bags and pouches, with new designs in progress all the time. The approach remains the same, combining vibrant colors and original prints with eco-conscious materials and long-lasting, quality construction.
